Melkington Lodge Booking
Terms and Conditions
|
- The Contract
for a short-term holiday rental shall be made between the Client
and Lowick Hall Estate Ltd. The contract will be entered into
when all the following booking conditions have been met. 2. Prices
and specifications. Prices are shown on the enclosed sheet and
include VAT. 3. Melkington Lodge will be considered booked by
the client on receipt of the completed booking form and a deposit
of 50% of the price. Confirmation will be sent to the client
- The balance
of the price is due 28 days prior to the start of the rental.
For bookings made less than 28 days before the commencement of
the rental the total fee is payable on sending the Booking Form.
- Any cancellations
must be in writing. Lowick Hall Estates Ltd will seek to re-let
Melkington Lodge for the period of the booking. If it is not possible
to re-let Melkington Lodge no refund will be available and the
full price will remain due. However, should it prove possible
to re-let then a discretionary refund may be made. This will never
be greater than 50% of the price.
- The client
is legally bound to reimburse Lowick Hall Estates Ltd for any
damage to Melkington Lodge and it's contents. Charges for repairs
and extra cleaning costs will be made.
- The client
shall take all reasonable and proper care of Melkington Lodge
and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on Melkington
Lodge and leave them in the same state of repair and condition
and in the same clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental
as at the beginning.
- Rentals
commence, unless otherwise notified, at 4.00pm on the day of arrival
and terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure.
- The maximum
occupancy for Melkington Lodge is 4 persons. This number must
not be exceeded.
- In the interests
of safety, Melkington Lodge can be entered at all reasonable times
for purposes of inspection or to carry out necessary repairs.
- Rentals commence,
unless otherwise notified, at 4.00pm on the day of arrival and
terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure. 12. Melkington is
a working farm. No responsibility can be accepted for accident
or injury to any person or property nor for illness whilst on
farm property.
- Accident
and cancellation insurance is recommended.
